My name is Maria, I’m a late 90’s kid, born and raised on the beautiful (and windy) Norwegian west coast, and now living in Oslo, Norway.

I am driven by the natural beauties of the world. Colors, lighting, the breath of nature, and real people granting their genuine, complex, human stories to us lucky viewers. I primarily work as a photographer, but depending on the project I’m also happy to do directing, development and editing. I’m mostly drawn towards documentary or entertainment work.

I studied film at Westerdals Oslo ACT, Høyskolen Kristiania from 2017 - 2020, and later moved on to working both as a freelance filmmaker and photographer, in addition to having a full time job as photographer and videographer in the marketing department of Norways largest publishing house: Cappelen Damm.
